Q: What brought you to CrossFit in the first place?
A: Having the workouts already planned out for me. Was tired of trying to go to a regular gym and figure out what what my workout was. With CrossFit all I have to do is just show up.
Q: What was your first impression? How has that changed?
A: At first I thought I was out of my league but I kept at it with the scaling options and now I see myself continuously getting better with the different types of workout movements.
Q: What was your first “bright spot”?
A: When my daughter said to me that my face is looking thinner.
Q: What’s your favorite CrossFit CTRL memory?
A: First time I made the committed club.
Q: What do you love most about CrossFit CTRL? What keeps you coming back each month?
The people. Having a fun and motivating environment is a HUGE factor in staying motivated and coming back. It doesn’t matter where you are on the fitness spectrum, everyone is positive and motivating and wants you to succeed.
Q: Who inspires you?
A: Everyone in the gym that I see showing up on a regular basis. If they can do it so can I.
Q: What is your current occupation? What are some hobbies, clubs, groups or activities you participate in?
A: Cyber Network Modeler, which is part of a cybersecurity assessment team. In my free time I like to game it up with my kids either on the Xbox or the computer.
Q: What would you say to someone you love to encourage them to try CrossFit CTRL?
A: All you have to do is just show up and let the coaches do the rest.
