Every athlete that steps though our doors is different. Different goals, different skills, different height, age and weight.
Because of this we don’t compare ourselves to our friends at the gym.
I’ve been discouraged watching the guy next to me deadlift more. I have two choices. Keep training or quit.
I realized that does not affect me in any way. And there is only one way to achieve that weight. I have to train for it.
If I quit, how will that get me any closer to that goal.
Health isn’t something you do for a few weeks, its something we need to keep in control for a lifetime.
You have to embrace these struggles along the way. Remember your why and keep moving forward.
It’s your journey.
