Finding your Fitness Mindset
We can follow the perfect set out plan, but if we don’t have a good mindset results will never follow.
So, what makes up a good fitness mindset?
Consistency. We show up every day and work hard. We’re not going for perfection but just that our habits and actions are consistent.
Progress. We focus on progress, because in the end that’s all that matters. We’re not looking or comparing our progress to others. We celebrate our own wins.
Nutrition. We focus on eating meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and sugar. But there’s room for error, we focus on moderation not elimination.
Forgiveness. We don’t let one mistake turn into many. When we make a mistake, we forgive ourselves and focus on our bigger “why” and move on. I
Growth. We are only human, and we make mistakes. But when we make them, we look at them as growth. Every mistake is either a loss or a lesson. Choose to see your mistakes as opportunities to grow and you can literally achieve anything you set your mind to.
Developing a fitness mindset doesn’t require perfect genetics or previous experience. It just requires attention and intention!
