When to supplement protein?
When we take members through on ramp the biggest problem I see with nutrition is a lack of protein.
We need about 0.5 grams per pound of body weight as a daily minimum
If we’re active we need about 0.7-1 gram of protein per pound of body weight.
I personally eat 180 grams a day. That’s a lot of chicken.
Because I find it hard to eat that much protein I supplement with a scoop of whey in my oatmeal.

I also supplement with casein protein at night. Casein is a slower absorbing protein and is great before bed.
