A Simple Guide to Curing Type 2 Diabetes — Just Like Justin Did

A year ago, Justin was told something that changed his life — he had Type 2 Diabetes with an A1C of 7.2. Like many people, this diagnosis was a wake-up call. But instead of giving up or accepting it as his new reality, Justin got to work.

Fast forward to today — Justin's A1C is now 5.0, and his doctor just took him off all medications. He cured his Type 2 Diabetes naturally. No fad diets. No crazy supplements. No gimmicks. Just simple, consistent action.

So... How Did He Do It?

Honestly, it’s not a secret formula. It’s not even complicated. It’s just the stuff that actually works — and has always worked.

Here’s the simple plan Justin followed to take control of his health and reverse Type 2 Diabetes:

1. Hit Your Daily Protein Goal

Protein helps balance blood sugar, supports lean muscle, and keeps you full longer. For most people, aiming for 0.7-1 gram of protein per pound of body weight is a great target.

Example:
→ 180 lbs = 130-180 grams of protein per day.

Eat protein at every meal — chicken, beef, fish, eggs, protein shakes — and build your meals around it.

2. Control Calorie Intake

The real root of Type 2 Diabetes comes down to energy imbalance. When we consistently eat more calories than we burn, we store that extra energy as body fat — especially around our organs — leading to insulin resistance.

The goal is simple:
→ Eat enough food to fuel your daily life and activity, but not so much that you store excess fat.

We use tools like tracking food intake or meal prepping to help people stay within their target range while still enjoying foods they love.

3. Train 4x Per Week

Strength training and conditioning help the body use glucose more effectively. Exercise increases insulin sensitivity — meaning your body handles carbs and sugars better the more you move.

Justin worked out 4 days per week — lifting weights, doing conditioning workouts, and building muscle. You don’t need to spend hours in the gym. Just consistent, quality training.

Why Does This Work?

Type 2 Diabetes doesn’t happen overnight. It happens slowly from years of poor nutrition, inactivity, and excess body fat.

But the good news? Your body wants to heal.

→ Protein helps manage blood sugar.
→ Eating at maintenance or a slight calorie deficit reduces fat stores.
→ Exercise improves insulin sensitivity.

This plan doesn’t just help with blood sugar — it leads to better energy, strength, sleep, and overall health.
