CAN YOU DO CROSSFIT IF YOU’RE OVERWEIGHT?

Can you do CrossFit if you’re overweight?

The short answer is YES!!!

CrossFit is for everyone. If you’ve been reading these blogs you’ve seen Lynn, our 74 year old member, Max our 3 year old member, and everyone in between.

Most of us started CrossFit because we were overweight, including me.

Most people feel intimidated because they google CrossFit and see Rich Froning and his high level of Fitness at the Games and think “I can’t do that, so it’s not for me.”

Would you say the same thing after watching a football or basketball game? Can you no longer shoot hoops or pass the ball with your kids? Of course not!

Every one of our members are at different levels of their fitness journey. Their goals change as they progress.

CrossFit is infinitely scalable to meet the needs of every athlete. We offer scaling options for everyone, and as your fitness improves you start to progress through the scaling options.

We see members accomplish things they never thought they could. We celebrate these accomplishments.

The hardest part of the journey is walking through our doors and sitting down for your intro. If you can do that I promise our coaches (and our awesome members) can change your life.
